Golfing
Golf enthusiasts can also spend their summer holiday in Kaprun on two of the area’s best golf courses, either pursuing their interest or learning how to play. Just 6 km away, the Zell am See Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses – the Kitzsteinhorn golf course and the Schmittenhöhe golf course. Beautifully maintained facilities against a backdrop of the imposing mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park – playing golf in Zell am See is both a sporty and natural experience!
Motorbike tours
Popular and world famous motorbike tours start directly on our doorstep in Kaprun, and lead through magnificent mountain passes and breath-taking landscapes. They meander through the mountain ranges, and have more curves than you can shake a stick at! We recommend the following tours: Grossglockner High Alpine Road – take a full or half-day tour, and visit the Gerlos Pass or the Dienten Saddle mountain col! Lake Zell
The crystal clear Lake Zell is just 10 km away from our farm. There are many ways to enjoy the cool water: Go on a boat ride on MS Schmitten or spend a relaxing day swimming and sunbathing with the whole family at one of the three lidos. You can also try your hand at water-skiing, sailing or steering a pedalo, or go for a casual walk along the promenade.
Archery
Shooting with a bow and arrow has become a real trend, and is one of the most popular summer leisure activities in Zell am See. Archery has an age-old tradition, and is perfect for anyone who loves combining sport and recreation in the open air. A high level of body control and concentration is required. Young and old “Robin Hoods” alike can find several scenic 3D archery trails in the Kaprun region.
